What makes a David Anderson headshot session different?

Dave knows that you have choices for your professional business portrait. For most people, price is not the most important thing (although it is a consideration). Locally, you can get headshots at the mall for probably fifty bucks, or you can go to an "exclusive" studio and literally pay thousands. The cheap places will likely give you photos that look "cheap" as well - you will probably hate them.  The "foofoo" places could ultimately cost you as much as a mortgage payment, and will likely take hours of your time and require multiple trips to the studio. Most people would rather pay a bit more and have the job done right the first time, and done quickly and without stress. Dave strives to not only create great results that will enhance your image, but he works to make sure that your entire experience will be great.

It all starts by having the prices listed right on this web page - you'll know upfront exactly what it will cost, and what to expect. He's not the cheapest, but is also far from being the most expensive. You won't have to call or send an email and wait for someone to contact you and start "selling". Once you know the cost, you can then book your own appointment right here as well. Pick a day and time that fits your schedule and book it right away. Again, no waiting for someone to get back to you. (After your appointment is confirmed, you'll get a PDF guide to help you select the clothing and other items to bring to your session. You'll also get an email reminder 24 hours before your session, and a text reminder the day of your session.)

When you come in for your session, Dave will help you choose the right background and props (if any), and will analyze the lighting and camera angles to make you look your best.  Dave won't rush you to select your favorite poses at the session, so will typically email previews the same day.  (Feedback from others can help assure that you select the most effective poses.) Once you select your choices, Dave will retouch and enhance your portraits as needed and will get the final images back to you, usually by the next business day.

• Our very convenient Annapolis studio has plenty of free parking right in front of our door. We're right across from the Annapolis Towne Centre in Parole Professional Park. Do you really want to trust your image to a part-time photographer who works out of their spare bedroom?

We can also photograph groups, one person at a time!  This way, when your staff changes you don't have to get everyone together again...we just add or take people out of the photo!  We can also change the background to most anything!  (See example)
