Junior Class Models Needed!

Want to get a great modeling session for free, and maybe even earn some extra money? Take about 4 minutes to read this page, and we promise to tell you how you can do that and have fun at the same time!

First, let us tell you a little about photographer David Anderson and why he needs your help.

A real studio ... a real photographer.

Mr. Anderson is a real photographer with a real studio that is located in a small shopping center just minutes from the Annapolis Mall. He doesn't just work out of his house like most photographers around the area. He wants to be completely professional. And, come on - do you really want to go to someone's house ... someone you know very little about ... and let them take pictures of you? Mr. Anderson's old enough to be your dad and has teenage daughters of his own. He wouldn't want to send them to somebody's house.

Plus, he has all the professional credentials and stuff. He's Certified by the world's largest professional photography organization and is in the top 1% of all photographers in the country. Basically, when it comes to photography, he knows what he's doing! (His teenage daughters might disagree when it comes to other things though!)

OK - finally, why he needs your help.

As a small independent studio, it's hard to compete with the big national companies that have the Senior Class contract at almost all the local high schools. The schools furnish these companies with the names and addresses of all the seniors and lock-out local photographers (illegally, but that's another story). Sure, Mr. Anderson can rent lists of seniors from big mailing companies, but those are usually not very accurate and can waste a lot of time and money. The best way is to get someone in each school to recommened him. That's where you come in!

What you can do.

The short answer is, you'll be a senior next year and Mr. Anderson would like for you to recommend him to your friends. However, he would never ask you to recommend him without first knowing for yourself how he works, and just how fun and easy a session can be. That's why he is willing to schedule a Senior Model Session ... for FREE!

However, not everyone who responds to this offer will be accepted. Here's why:

• First, you must be a current high school junior. That's because, if you are selected, Mr. Anderson will use some of your favorite poses in his marketing pieces that will go out to your friends and classmates before they schedule their senior portrait session with another photographer. (Most senior sessions are done in the summer between your junior-senior year.)

• He wants to find models who have the right attitude and personality. You don't have to be top-model beautiful or even the the most popular, but you do have to be friendly and outgoing. Even if you are a little shy in front of a camera, Mr. Anderson will make it fun and easy for you - but try watching Tyra or shows like "America's Next Top Model" for ideas on how to be in front of a camera. You might be surprised at just how hot Mr. Anderson can make you look!

• Here's the most important thing to remember - you really need to respond to this now. If models are chosen from your school before you apply, you will miss out. Also, if you are selected, you will need to schedule your session soon so that the best poses can be selected and printed in time for you to show them to your friends before school ends.

What you will get after the session.

You'll come back to the studio one last time to help Mr. Anderson select the best poses.  He will then retouch them and send you some AWESOME digital photos and videos that you can put on your Facebook page. You can tag them and share them with your friends. (You don't have to buy anything, but if you or your parents want to, you will get a big discount for helping.)

Now, here's how you can actually make some major dollars!

Posting to Facebook is important, but parents (you know, the people who actually pay for the senior portraits!) sometimes like to see actual photographs right in their hands. So ... when you're showing your photos to your friends at school, just ask them for their address. Then, when you get home just enter that info onto an easy-to-fill-out computer form that Mr. Anderson will give you.  He'll then send them info that includes some extra bonuses for them as well.  (You'll actually be doing them a favor!)

How much money?

First, Mr. Anderson will pay you 10 cents for each and every name you get, just to cover your time and trouble. You won't get rich from this part, but here's where some real money can be made:

• Mr. Anderson will track the sessions and will give you $20 credit toward your own portrait order for each senior who books a session and orders portraits from that session (completed senior order), or will pay you $10 cash - your choice.
• $50 Credit Bonus after 5 completed senior referrals (or $25 cash).
• $100 Credit Bonus after 10 completed senior referrals (or $50 cash).
• $300 Credit Bonus after 20 completed senior referrals (or $150 cash). Along with your individual referrals and bonuses, that's a total of $850 credit, or $425 if you take it all in cash!
• $500 Cash Bonus after 30 completed senior referrals. That's a total of $1550 in cash and credits (or $1025 if you want it all in cash), all for doing a free, quick and easy modeling session! Not bad, huh? Example: (30 sessions x $20 credit) + ($50 + $100 + $300 credit) + $500 = $1550.

P.S. - Remember, we can't accept everyone, so the quicker you respond, the more likely you will be selected. (Seriously - why would we want to photograph everyone for free? That would kind of defeat the purpose!)  If we already have models from your school, you will miss out!
