"In order to successfully photograph small children", he says, "you not only have to be a photographer, you also have to be a child psychologist." "You can't just sit a 2 year old in front of the camera and expect him to pose perfectly. If you make it fun for him, he won't even know he's in a portrait session - he will just think it's playtime." That's how Anderson gets the great, natural expressions that parents swoon over.

Don’t worry, David Anderson Photography is very affordable for most people, and there is no high-pressure selling here. You will only purchase what you want.

Our weekday session fees range from only $75 to $125 (slightly higher for weekends, holidays, and large groups), and includes the design consultation, location preview (if applicable), the session itself, and the View and Choose a few days after the session. Also, we frequently offer specials (see below for Internet specials).

Individual portraits range from as little as $148 to over $2500, depending on size, quantity, and finish. For greater savings, we have a wide variety of popular combinations available as Collections from $395 for several Gift Size portraits, to over $2100 for a Large Focal Point Wall Portrait and a bunch of smaller ones. We're not as inexpensive as the mall or department store studio, but we think you'll agree that this kind of artistry and service are worth a bit more! After all, a portrait is one of the few things in life that gets more valuable as time passes.
